ASC Quality Reporting Deadline Extended Through July 19

To provide ASCs with sufficient time to obtain needed HARP accounts with the Security Official (SO) role for the Ambulatory Surgical Center Quality Reporting (ASCQR) Program, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is extending the data submission deadline from Monday, May 17, 2021, to Monday, July 19, 2021, at 11:59 pm PT.

ASCA worked with CMS and the Health Services Advisory Group (HSAG) to advocate for this extension, which recognizes the unique challenges faced by ASCs due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the confusion surrounding the new enrollment process this year.
